Tim Russert dies at 58.

Honestly, I am shocked. And saddened. This man breathed life into political journalism. And I feel upset that he's going to miss the rest of this incredible election year, that his dad and rest of his family has to deal with this. He was just so lively, and was able to put aside his own political beliefs in interviews and be a journalist. He had so much more to offer, but if I could live just half of his life, it would be fulfilling. He was a tough interviewer, but he was still respectful.

Tim Russert, you will be missed.

ETA: Some articles about him. Some of them make me tear up. :(
